Must Watch
This is a perfectly crafted movie. This makes you think . The performances and the sequences are flawless. Background music also is perfect as per situations. Just go as soon as possible! Also the way it is dealt, it's different from normal biography movies. One would understand my comment only after watching the movie Not everything is serious. Movie also has share of intelligent light moments. The life and the thought process of lokmanya, and the way youth should think, every messages reaches your brain and heart. After Prakash baba Amte, another masterpiece by Marathi film industry. I give this 10 as such movies need to be made regularly.
A must watch for Youth.
The movie is a biography of "LOKMANYA TILAK". Performance by all the actors is good especially Subodh Bhave. The Dialogues & Background music is just awesome. The reason why Ganesh Utsav should be celebrated is explained very well. All the scenes are done nicely. Many messages are conveyed nicely to the youth of this generation. This movie made us to think at what path India is going. Chinmay Mandlekar,Priya Bapat has done their role nicely. Every kid should watch this movie. As kids should know about "LOKMANYA TILAK" & his thoughts. There are Hardly 2-3 songs, out of them the ganesh aarti is nice.

Must Watch move by all Indians
Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush. This movie is a must watch not just by Maharashtrians but by all Indians. people these day feel it was all Gandhi and Nehru in freedom struggle and forget about the sacrifice made by other great peoples. though the Tilaks part in movie inspired me but the present situation shown in movie couldn't cope up with the spirit and failed to inspire in same manner. music is good. dialogs are presented in good way. cinematography was creative by shooting from different angles. but roles played by other freedom fighter should have been some prominent actors it would have created a good impact than what it did..but overall it was a good movie which tried not only to cover all his life events but also link them with present situation but in an unfair manner.
Excellent biopic
First of all the movie is technically brilliant. The cinematography, visuals and sets looked authentic. The story chugs along at a good pace and does not get melodramatic or jingoistic at any stage - that is a complement to the screenplay! It is rare for an Indian movie to stick to the story and not get diverted into silly romances or grand portrayals. The banter and discourse between Tilak and Agarkar was nicely portrayed. The supporting cast is excellent. However Subodh Bhave absolutely steals the show as Tilak - I never thought he could be as expressive! His face portrays all the emotions very well, the anger, the disappointment, the stoicness of Tilak. I was never bored during the movie and was kind of disappointed that it ended... May be a proper series on Tilak and his ideas would be good in the future!
